Hi there my husband had his interview this week and it went well. However because of his age and sex (young adult male) from Pakistan he was put in AP. The interviewing officer said it was standard. They took his passport and told him that they would mail it back to him with the visa as long as they could verify his information. I am not too worried about this since our case is honest and accurate and we got married for the right reasons. I am just wondering if anyone has been put in AP from Pakistan and how long it took for them to complete the process? The interviewing officer said 1-3 months. However I have come to ignore timelines since governement agencies never seem to stick to them. Also, is there anything that I can do on my end to speed up the process?

Thanks!

i have been in AP for 33 months,, no time frame for AP,,,, still waitinggggggggggggggggg,,,nothing to speed up AP except Pray and waiting..

(AP= Waiting)
