Hello, I'm staying in the US as a F-1 student and married to a US citizen. We are preparing documents for AOS, but my husband lives in CA and I live in TX because of work. Right after my OPT expires (mid August), I'll move to CA. We are almost ready to file the forms and I'm worried if I receive a request for biometric after I leave TX. I'm wondering if I can put my husband address in the form, I-485, or I should change my address after I move. Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

You must put your real current address on the forms and then file a change of address form when you move. To lie might make it seem like you are hiding the fact that you don't live together, and will make them suspicious. You should be up-front about it and show your valid reason instead. You could also wait to file until after your move to keep things simple. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
