Hi all,

i had my interview on 2nd week of July with wife and daughter (it was B2), from cairo

the Officer seemd nice asked few questions and i was honest and myself with him, he didn't look at any docs and just said enjoy your trip to US,

he took my family passports and returned mine with a case no. for Admin Processing, my questions are:

- what if there are few mistakes in the application i.e phone no. of my previous employer, etc.. (not intended, just forgot 1 no.)

- i have an Aunt holding a green card and i didn't mention her in the Application (because i don't have a contact with her since about 12 yrs and she is not currently in the US i guess)

- after 3 days of the interview we received the family passports with the VISA but my case is still under processing :(

so any experts advice?

is there any chance that above mentioned could reject my visa? and how long it may take to clear my situation?

Help Please, i just want to go there for a tour as i have another plans in Euorpe in October !! :bonk:

Welcome to VJ.

-Did they say how long the AP would take? I would not assume things as if it were something missing with your case they would of let you know.

-Check the embassy website for your case. All you do is put your case number here to check CASES PENDING ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING : http://egypt.usembassy.gov/consular/ivstatus.html

-If you get no information for that I would consider emailing them asking for a status.

-From what I hear from other people that go threw AP (ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING) is that it is normal for males to go through before they get their visa. The time in AP depends could be a month could be 2 months no one knows for sure.

I hope this helps and the best of luck to you and your family. Encourage other people that you know that are going threw the same thing to join VJ as we have a great support base here.

Salam
