What Visa did you enter the USA on?

If it was a K, the medical would've been forwarded from the POE and it's good for 1 year.

If it was VWP or something similar I beliebe you make your own appointment with one of the designated Civil Surgeons.

Hi,

I'm a Canadian marrying a USC. I am going to be applying for AOS from within the states. Should I send a medical report along with my first application package? or wait for them to request one or set up an interview?

-J

Assuming you haven't already had a medical for an immigrant visa, then the I-693 medical suppliment needs to be filed along with the rest of your AOS package. This means you have to get the medical done ASAP. If you don't include it, they'll send you a RFE asking for it, and this will delay your case.

Have your medical done before sending your AOS package... I waited to send it and got a RFE and this delayed our case..... wish I had known as I have plenty of time to have had it done... but I did not find VJ till after we filed...
