Hi,

I just got a rejection on my I-130. Here's what it said on it:

The application/petition has not been fully completed. One or more of the following fields were not completed.

- Part C Question 3 Place of Birth

I had my town of Birth listed under (Town or City). Under (State/Country) I had See Attached.

On the sheet of paper that I attached I put down the name of the form (I-130), C. Information about your relative, 3. Place of Birth, and then the State/Country with the answers to it. It was also signed and dated by the petitioner.

How do I go about correcting this mistake? Should I strike through SEE ATTACHED, and put the State and Country right next to it? Should I type up a new I-130?

I also have another SEE ATTACHED on another question on the same I-130, but that wasn't mentioned on the I-797 as a possible reason for rejection. Should I change that as well??

I also have both G-325's that have SEE ATTACHED on them. Should I go ahead and change them as well? That wasnt mentioned on the I-797 as a reason for rejection either.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

That is not a rejection letter it is a RFE. Just do exactly what they tell you to do and you will be fine

I know what I have to do, but trying to figure out how I should do it. I had my state and country of birth on the attached sheet of paper, but they obviously didnt like the way I presented it. So I am just trying to figure out how I can make the changes that are accepted. Thanks

Use black ink , print , and be legible is all that you'll probably need.

You might have tried to provide your city, state and country, which they can not enter in their system and they can't decide those details for you. Please inform them your city or town and country only (for example "Mumbai" and "India"), which should be fine. We did that and got approvals. To avoid any further RFE, also send them a corrected I-130 with same details as the original include the date on the form and sign it making just the correction regarding the city and country and send with your reply.
