[version ii]

perhaps reform the question for Monday ? something to the effect of:

Hey - civil documents for a CR-1 to Cuba, what's the length of validity from issuance date ?

---

again, my point on this, is that NVC does intake for civil documents on the CR-1/IR-1 - so they should know about this, for the civil documents.

Whatever their answer is for the CR-1, should be the same for the K-1 (exception of the single status certificate) as it's the same place (Cuba).

-----

However, back at the portal (yer portal)

there's a list of ppl homed to Cuba, as a members list, sorted by last login date.

Then there's the timeline section (left panel) at the portal, once there, sort by interview date.

THEN once it's sorted,

You can CLICK each member's name - will take you to their timeline or their profile, depending on what you clicked - and when yer in their profile, you can SEND THEM A PM (usually), asking yer question about the validity dates on civil documents, or asking them to come to study yer topic at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/320802-birth-police-single-status-medical-document-validity/

Usually, ppl who have gotten their visa in the last 4 months, not come here much, as they're busy with their partner now wife - but VisaJourney will send them a notice (usually) via email, letting them know they have a PM here.

Let me know if you can't follow my steps on this - I keep up with folk in my portal this way.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

This is from the interests Section in Havana:

Thank you for your e-mail.

Police records are valid for one year after the expiration date but applicant may not enter the United States with police records expired that's why at the time of the visa issuance they should still have at least a validity of six months.

We hope this information assist you.

Don't think too hard about it. Honestly, you should just get new documents when you get the chance. You just have to do a big line and repeatedly come back for about a week or two. They Are cheap in Cuba. It's the best way to go. A month before the interview I got the documents all over again. You won't be sorry. Also, Fill out BOTH, present and the ones they sent you.

A Sad Fact: The Entire Process is hard on Purpose. Good luck
