Hello my name is Jeremiah and I have a few questions i have looked and just wanted to make sure I understand what I have read.

My soon to be wife in 15 days :), she has a F1 visa. I have read follow the guide under the Guides section but I do not see any F1 guides. I also read the guides are the same as f1 and k1 but under some topics see different forms needed.

so far I have forms I-130, I-485, I-765, G-325a. are there any I am missing? this is just a simple f1 visa marriage.

2nd question when and how do I apply for a SSN number for her? after we marry do I have to file a work permit form to get her one?

I have looked at many postings and have not found the answer to the 2nd question since she falls under f1 ya ya ya lol.

any help would help out a lot.

Her F1 shows that she entered the US legally. What you will be doing is adjusting status after you marry. There are no special circumstances because she is here on an F1. Follow this guide >>>> http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

She can get her SSN once she gets her Employment document (EAD). Both this document and the travel permission, Advance Parole, are free when filed with the I-485, and are meant to be temporary permissions for the time between now and when she gets her greencard. Once she gets the greencard, she doesn't need these permissions any more, because the greencard gives you the right to work and travel. Good luck.

Thanks I will look at the links and get started. Lam is a little scared she thinks we need a lawyer for this and after I have read a little I was like why pay a guy $1,200 (his fees not filling fees) just to mail the same forms in that i can mail in lol.

My IO seemed to think it was a positive that I, the USC, filled out all the forms.
