I'm lucky since I get to avoid the buffarillas working at Sally in favor of the cute little Korean chicks at the hood shop. We've made a trip or two to Sally but the cuteys close to home are so much nicer. (On the eyes, that is!)
I'd go to the local Korean-or-whatever place instead of to Sally, but I'm afraid that the employees would be the same ones at whom I routinely and vocally curse because they drive too slowly, @#&%! man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I think our interviewer knew better than to ask things like that once I messed up our anniversary date. I guess she figured if I didn't know the date we got married, there's no way I'd know things like toothbrush color or what all that other ####### is.

We have college boys beside us that I'm sure LOVE their neighbor. Especially when she brings her friends over and they sit around in the back yard with little clothing on getting tipsy.

Oh to be young again...

Buffarillas. :rofl: Is that a VJ approved reference?

They had a small party for the grauating students at Alla's college and one of the students from her "practicum II" (student teaching) who had been making eyes at her finally came on and hit on her pretty hard. She said "how old are you?" He was 20. She said "You are younger than my son" :whistle: She thought that would put him off but he hit harder! :rofl: Must be into MILFs. Alla was flattered. Never believe that they don't like it! Sexual harrassment in Ukraine is not a problem...women consider it a benefit. Also, never let the college students hit on her more than you do!

Those can't be Koreans driving slowly. Korea is possibly the funnest place in the whole world to drive because it's like bumper cars and grand prix all in one. Stoplights are a suggestion and the one with the biggest #(*^@#^%( is the one who gets the right of way.

I don't know if it's approved or not but that's the current term we're using around here.

Women in their 40s are way hornier than women in their 20s. Thanks to things like the internet and shows like Cougar Town and Sex & the City, guys today are hip to the fact that they have a way better chance of hooking up with a 40-something than a 20-something.

And yes, the RUB women love it.

Perhaps not, but today, I was late to work because I got caught behind a Vietnamese who was driving a Prius. That's even worse than rolling snake-eyes, aarrgh man.

In my studied view, there are six groups of drivers who should not be allowed on the road, ever, no man:

1. The handicapped (or at least not in the left lane);

2. Anyone 10+ years older than the posted speed-limit;

3. Anyone in a vehicle with more than 4 tires;

4. Anyone on a cell phone;

5. Anyone in a Ford EconoLine van; and especially

6. Orientals, aarrgh man.

A seventh category includes school buses, UPS trucks, and student drivers, aarrgh man.

I love drivers in Ecuador, si man: On a 4-lane divided city street with a car parked on the side of each lane, the taxi-drivers are able to drive 3 abreast at regular speed, missing the hitting of each other by (realistically) not more than a billibeter of space, no man. Sounds almost like Korea...

Older chicks are total horn dogs. In my younger years I used to hit the Capt. Cook and Sheridan hotel (a couple of upscale joints in Anchorage) on Friday's after work just to horn in on the office chicks. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. Usually divorced, kids were either out of the house or close to it, and they always had nice homes to go back to...due to divorce terms I'm sure. Horny ol freaks to the max. B-)

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

If you think a taxi is fun... try riding a bus!

Older chicks are total horn dogs.

It's almost like paying attention to the fat girl.

The college guys are starting too. They've been forced into watching them with their girlfriends so often it one day hit them, "Why am I messing with this young girl when I could be hanging out with cougars?"
