Hi everyone!

First of all I wanted to share with u that our visa was approved :)

Hopefully the visa will arrive this week.

I have a question about the POE. I bought my tickets already and I'll arrive in US by Atlanta airport.

Ive heard most people go to NY airport as POE, but I wont ... will that be an issue? Can Atlanta airport be my POE too, right?

Maybe Im not familiar with this part of the process ... but I hope the POE can be any state in US.

Please reply If u know smth about it, or have any advice.

Thanks in advance.

Dave & Carol :)

The first stop in the US on an international flight is the POE. The wife's was in Denver. Yours will be Atlanta. Just may sure to leave enough time for the connecting flight to get thru customs and immigration. Wife took 2 hours in Denver, but that was waiting for the luggage.

Good luck and congrats on the visa approval.

Atlanta is fine. I have flown from Brasil to Atlanta many times and gone through immigration there. I had no problems (nor did my Brazilian husband). Things went pretty quickly for us each time. Good luck to you!

Point of Entry is the first place you land in the US. People have their POE at many places all over the US. My husband (then fiance) had his POE in Atlanta. It all went smooth and quickly for him. Good luck! :)
