Dear VJ,

I have a question about the belgian police report...

not to long ago i send a mail to brussles , but ive read on this site the adress is changed

so im like nervous if the adress change is right or not in this site cauz on my packet 3 saying

that its still the old adress and not whats it shown on this site , in aditional info

but anyway's , i am wondering how long it takes to receive my english police report

becauz in the townhall in my town where i live in thy cannot give me it in english , only in dutch =S

i do have my birthcertificate from the townhall in my town but not police report becauz thy cannot give me that

so i send mail to brussles for my police report x2 in english and i track mail and send it trough recomandation

so if thy receive it , thy need sign it and so i can know thy got it , so i have that evidence thy received it

but i dont got my police report x2 in english yet

what is better way to have it ?

just w8 on mail ?

or send them an e-mail with my info in it and such ?

but i dont have a ID card reader ... so yeah =(

whats faster tho get my police report ?

Best Reagards

~~Jorim

It can take at least 2 weeks before getting a police record.

The police record doesn't need to be in english, dutch is fine.

There is no quicker way than to request it where the embassy told you to request it.

I'm surprised your city hall said they could issue it.

I did my k1 visa in october 2009, things might have change since then.

Be sure to read the instructions again and why not ask the embassy for clarifications.

You can translate it yourself if need be.
