Physical and Police Certificate

Hello,

Seems like I have a question a day... We received our NOA2 on 7/6. We're working on the paperwork in the mean time, but my fiancee is working 7 days a week third shift until 8/6. She's planning on going to Chiang Mai for the physical around 8/8 or 8/9. I'm encouraging her to go to Bangkok for both the physical and police certification instead. Especially now since it just dawned on me that we don't need to send in the Medical exam results with the packet 3 info, but we need the police cert for this, and it takes a couple weeks to get. If she still wants to go to Chiang Mai for the physical, I'll tell her to go to Bangkok first for the Police cert. Just to get that in process. Then go to Chiang Mai for the physical afterwards. I would think that would be the better route? Or did I answer my own question? Btw, I called again today and no case number yet.

Thank you.

If it were me I would get the police report first since you need that for packet 3 and it takes a few weeks to receive. When she gets the police report have her ask to mail it to her. The police report is free, the mailing part most likely you will have to pay for. Get the medical done where ever it is easier for the both of you. Hopefully you get your BNK# soon and good luck.

Thank you again. Sometimes questions just come up during the day, and some still aren't the ones I want to ask... This one dawned on me a little while ago when I was looking over the list of documents again. I will let her know this, and tell her about them mailing the certificate back. That will make things easier for sure. Then she'll decide on the physical location. Yes, hope we receive the number soon.
