I'd also like to know what the medical is about :) anyone got some details? I just wanna know what to expect...What test are they doing... I also wanted to have some medical tests to make sure I'm ok but there's no point in taking them twice. So any info would be helpful.

Salutare tuturor! Lipsa SSN are vreo relevanta? Multumesc!

the medical......go to medsana, its usually quicker, my husband sd they looked at his shot record, you will need it, and what shots he needed he got, they took blood, did a normal physical including x-rays.

it cost i believe $60-$80...i dont remember...but you can call ahead and ask about the price

Hello to all Romanians still on the forum, although, by the looks of this thread, i'd say there aren't many left.. :(

We received our Noa2 on the 21st of October, and I have received the yellow envelope from the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest on the 4th of November. On the list of "Stuff to Have Ready Before the Interview", they suggest that i first have to take the Medical exam, then send them the list back, and then they'd appoint a date for the interview. Now, my question is, as i live in Suceava and Bucharest is far-far away, is there any way to only make one trip to Bucharest? Could i send the list to the Embassy without scheduling the medical, and after they appoint me a date for the interview, call the hospital and get a date for my medical? Is that even legal?:( I'm totally freaking out here and i'm so afraid that i'll screw this up. Please :help:

Tu nu vb romaneste?

eu o sa iti raspund in romaneste sper sa intelegi!

Has anyone already gone through the process and used a co-sponsor with the k1 visa. I read on some other posts about some embassy's not allowing co-sponsor (manilla). Does anyone know if embassy in Bucharest allows a co-sponsor for the k1 visa.

Multimesc

Bucharest does allow COSPONSOR... I had one since I'm a stundent :)
