Wow how awesome you ALL are!!!

Thank you all so much for your support. I am so tired it was a looooong day! I have been up since 4:30 am and I am needing some sleep, but first I had to come on and tell all of you we were approved!!!!

The weird thing about the interview.... THEY ONLY ASKED AHMED 1 QUESTION?!?!?! Unbelievable!!! They didn't even ask for any of the evidence or to see any pictures, they just looked at us and said "who is (co-sponsor's name)" and Ahmed said it is her Uncle, our co-sponsor. The woman then said we need this document, but you are approved and we will send you thru AP, it should be about 1 month and you will receive the visa. Ahmed and I just stood there We couldn't believe it, were we being punk'd??? Where was the list of questions? Didn't they want any evidence???? How could it be that simple??? Well it was folks!!! VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

Will write more later, though I am unsure what to write LOL they didn't ask any questions or ask for evidence they simply gave him the approval! Though I would suggest getting there super early! Also watch out for those line jumpers, we had a few people try to get in front of us but noooooope! I wasn't having any of that!

As many many VJ posters have come sadly to report, "they didn't even look at my evidence" at the interview. For those preparing .... evidence FIRST in original submission strongly front loaded .. approval easy.. lack of the correct evidence.. big problem at the interview.

The thing is... I DID NOT SEND IN ANY EVIDENCE FRONT LOADED. All evidence we had we brought to the interview. I only submitted what was required for the I-130, the I-864 and the DS230. It was so strange to get the approval with no evidence looked at and no questions asked, but I am not going to complain LOL!

Engo, thank you so much! You have been so nice to us and we appreciate your kind words and your prayers through this time. We will be sending in the document this week and are preparing for Ahmed to come to the States in October as we had originally prayed for. He has to finish the year end closing at his job then he is free to fly!!!! YAY! Now we need to think about your interview and send you prayers and well wishes for an awesome interview like we had! Really my advice... the earlier you get there the faster you will get done. We had about a 5 hour wait and we got there at 7:10 am only to find about 100 people already there ahead of us. Everyone in the Embassy is very kind and helpful. Relax my friend you will do so well I am so sure of it after seeing how the interview process works I am highly confident for you!
