Same here, we finally had the bio appointment last Monday, same day Card production ordered.

We already received the card yesterday (7 days after appointment!) :) Now waiting for the interview letter.

That's great!!! I guess they are trying to make it up for it,hopefully my card will take only 7 days as well:)

Good luck with your interview,I think i'll be getting mine for the beginning of November if things continue to go at this pace.

received an email today indicating our interview would be on Wednesday, November 16. thrilled to see the first touch in 2 or so months

i apologize if this is a particularly silly question -- the email indicated that the interview would take place at the "National Benefits Center." That's Lee's Summit, MO right? But the USCIS wouldn't make someone drive 8 hours to do their AOS interview-- so I'm misunderstanding something.

Anyway i guess the letter will clear it all up. good luck folks who are still waiting for their interview!

I got a job!! Start date on Monday

Now we're just waiting for the interview letter. I'm not sure if we should bring a lawyer to the interview with us. We had planned to but we fired our last lawyer and we're not too excited at the thought of hiring another.

It's amazing how fast the process is going, at the beginning it seems like it will take forever...

Our timeline:

1993: Met at the age of 9, best friends ever since

2007: Admitted what we both knew all along...

December 25,2008: He proposed!!!!

May 9, 2009: Got married

May 10th, 2011: Date that lawyer claimed he mailed out AOS package

July 14th, 2011: Date that lawyer *actually* mailed out AOS package

July 18th, 2011: USCIS started processing our application

July 30th, 2011: Received Biometrics Appointment (8/11/11)

August 1st, 2011: Successful Biometrics walk-in

August 3rd, 2011: Received all NOA hard copies

September 12, 2011: Card production notice for EAD (!!!)

September 13, 2011: I765 touched

September 19, 2011: EAD arrived in the mail

December 28, 2011: Received email notification of our interview date

February 1, 2012: Interview

February 29, 2012: Approval notice via email(!!!)

March 7, 2012: Card arrives in the mail (!!!)

No worries, the letter will tell you where to go, most likely your local office, although the email/website may say NBC.

Hello my fellow July filers!

My husband and I had our AOS interview on Wednesday. It went well but no on the spot approval. In fact, we have not heard anything since... a tad stressful, but my husband and I had a good weekend tailgating and we're trying not to focus on it too much and just enjoy ourselves and continue being happy.
