Good to know we are not the only onces still waiting for biometrics after 2 months. Our application was received 6/17/11 at Chicago Lockbox and we have all NOA1's dated 6/22/11

Already called last week and basically the same ... lady took some general info, gave us a ref number and told us to call back in 30 days if we hear nothing.

June 8, 2011 papers signed at attorney office

June 17, 2011 official day papers received by USCIS

June 23, 2011 money order cashed

June 28, 2011 NOA (3x) received hardcopy

Sept 19, 2011 BIO appointment

Sept 19, 2011 EAD approved

just give them a call tomorrow dont wait for the 27th it s already 30 days plus from 7/05

my spouse call them today On the phone,a lady asked for the receipt number so gave her the receipt number for the I485 she took some information like phone number, address, email and she gives us a ref number and told us to call after 30 days if we didnt receive anything,well lets hope something comes in the mail next week

a bunch of information and gave me a ref number and told to call if we didn't receive anything,and she said we did the right thing by calling again since been more than 50 days since the NOA date.

Anyways hopefully we both will receive a surprise in the mail soon.Good luck to you guys.

Biometrics appointment today. Very fast, simple, employees all nice. Hoping I get EAD soon. I was selected for a paid internship but can't start until I have EAD. Deadline is Nov. 1st. Should I try NOW to expedite - anyone know how? Calling congressmen or senators office? Or wait for a few weeks to try those, if I haven't received any updates from USCIS?

It seems like I have a lot of time but some people have not gotten EAD until almost as same time as interview :o Plus I can't apply for social until after get EAD....

Thanks for your suggestions and hoping everyone waiting for bio letter gets it today, so you can have a relaxed weekend!!!

Hello Suley & Tami, I submitted my packet same date as yours but I already had my biometrics last August 12th. Hope I could receive my EAD soon because I have a final interview with an employer on September 1st.

if you are not too far from your field office, you can make an infopass and find out more that way. They will tell you whether you're in the queue from appointment and when yours is scheduled. I was able to find that out during an Infopass and after much convincing and waiting (5 hours), they agreed to let me do my biometrics right then and there.

Congrats!!!...you must be happy after all this wait.I'm thinking offices must be really backed up down here!!!

I still waiting for mine,been 2 months since they received my application, hopefully my bio letter won't take 1 more month to arrive.
