I am getting ready to file removal of conditions and am gathering evidence. My Husband and I HATE HATE HATE having our photos taken.. So I really don't have any to send in maybe a few at family parties when we aren't looking but that's all. Is it a bad idea not to send any? Would I still get approved without them?

I have plenty of other information I will include such as

A Joint Credit Card

Statements from 5 different Joint bank accounts together.

2 personal loans one current and one that we have paid off already.

The deed to our new home which we are BOTH on... However, I am the only one on the mortgage as he was laid off a few days before we were due to close on our house so we had to re-do the mortgage app and the only way we could get approved was if I went on it alone so that his debt wasn't adding to my debt ratio. Should I include this info maybe a letter from the bank stating we were approved together but had to change it last minute?

The car insurance with both our names on it... However, not the registration as my husband had to buy our car jointly with his father so I am not on the loan for that also because we bought the car before I had my work permit so I had no income to add or credit at that time. I can however, highlight in our bank statement that we pay for the car from our joint account...

Home Owners insurance with both names on it.

My husband received life insurance through a credit union and I am trying to get something that lists me as the beneficiary.

I just changed jobs however, I did have health insurance at my previous job that had my husband on it too, I just don't know where I get documentation to show that... And I won't be eligible to get insurance at my new job for a few months.

2 years tax returns filed jointly...

All this boils down to having no photo's I can run around and take some of us together over this coming weekend to include but are they really necessary would they approve us without them and the info I included above??

You seem to have some good evidence of comingled lives. How about some more mundane things such as :copies of your drivers licenses showing the same address, mail addressed to the both of you, etc.

Highlighting payments isn't much. Nor is the letter from the bank about the last minute change. I'd avoid those items. They raise more questions than answer.

As much as you may not like photos, given the realities of the immigration process isn't it worth it to have a few snapshots than have a delay? Though only submitting pics from a few weeks ago wouldn't be all that persuasive.

You ought to be ok. Best of luck.

When my husband and I filed for my K-1 visa, we were in the same boat. We made sure to include a note about it that said something along the lines of, "Neither of us really enjoy having our picture taken, and it hadn't occurred to us we might actually need some photos down the line or we would have taken more. We hope the ones we have provided will suffice, and of course we will provide any additional information you may require!" It was never brought up. I think as far as RoC goes, as people have pointed out, they really want to see personal and financial lives intertwined, so I might include a note about the photos as I mentioned, but otherwise I wouldnt say you're necessarily in trouble. I'm still waiting on my own approval, but I think I sent maybe four pictures?

"Your mom is in my head right now, and she's saying don't do that."

"For Sale. One Parachute . Used only once, never been opened. Small stain."

No pictures....No worries. Your evidence is pretty much strong. My husband and I filed it on april 2011. We didn't include pictures because we don't like pictures. I received my card yesterday. So fast. It only took 2 months and 29 days. No interview. So, don't worry, yours is next. God bless.

By the way, regarding your insurance just make a photo copy of both insurance card where it shows your name and on the other card is his name. They can check the ID# on it. Or if you want a print out, go to your insurance website it will show on your account that your husband is under your insurance and just print that out. That's what I did.

How funny you ask this question because in the last two years my husband and I did not take pictures together at all and we little 4-5 events that we have pictures of are like so random he's not looking but he's in the background and vice versa and also we did not have a lot of pictures because he got laid off and had not much money left over to do trips anywhere where in other years we've had. so, I figured to send as much paperwork as I could. Hope the 10 pictures I have are good enough.
