CRISIS: Interview tomorrow and fever

Hi,

My fiancées interview is tomorrow and her youngest daughter has a fever. My fiancee is trying to the get the fever down before the interview but is concerned that she will be turned away.

Do they scan for fevers at the embassy in Manila?

i dont think they scan for fevers. Just scan for deadly weapons, any type of gadgets, liquids, pointy stuff. I hope she will be okay enough for the interview. It doesnt take long anyway. :thumbs:

She'll be fine. JuSt make sure they eat something before they go.. It's quite a long wait. I was there 6am and was out by 10am, it might be good to have breakfast first, or else they will be hungry!

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Glad to hear the fever is gone!

They dont scan for fever at the embassy so no need to worry about that.

The kid just needs to rest and drink lots of fluids.

In case the fever comes back, just give Paracetamol (Tempra) and it usually normalizes the body temperature for about 4 hours.

I guess the real thing you guys need to think about is what's causing the fever? I hope it's nothing serious.
