I don't mind at all, noura and take it as no disrespect for you to ask. It's funny, I put that info in my profile when I registered, but it has since disappeared. I'm filing for a K3 from Morocco. My husband and I were married (legally) in 2005, but didn't file until July 2006. I was moving in the US, and I live in Morocco part of the year, so we were in no hurry.

Yet, I think in this thread, you've gotten a little impressed with yourself. Whether or not Henia is filing a K1 K3 whatever...it is none of your business really. And you dont have to bash everyone over the head with the 'rules of Islam' and stand up on your pedestal giving your lecture why you know more than everyone else. Whatever Henia has done is her business...and it's between her and her God to deal with...it's not for you to judge. You are free to live your life however you see fit, and while I'm sure it must be annoying to see others 'getting it wrong' where it comes to Islam....this thread was neither the time nor the place to dazzle us all with your brilliance on a topic that has already been beaten to death. I accused Henia of nothing, and stated often that since I had no information about her situtation, I was speaking in general. I did that ONLY after reading the crass feedback and false accusations aimmed at me hours after my last post.

Some of you don't seem to know the difference between public and private, read and ignore, and expect to be able to regulate the reactions of others to what is posted. I can't control your responses to me anymore than you can control my responses to you, so, other than stating how you feel about it, there is really nothing to be done.

The fact is, people see what they want to see, and I gave up long ago trying to explain myself. Why? Because it's so easy to discover the sensitivities of someone who is offended by just about everything. It's not a matter of being impressed by myself; it's about the over reactions of others, imo. Just as someone can agree or disagree with what is said by someone else, they can agree or disagree with what I say.

Just wanted to say I am finally married, and over with the long days of the wedding and parties.

I am so so happy here in Algerie... words cannot even explain how I feel now. Elhamdullah I am here and elhamdullah I have finally gotten married.

I never accused her of fornicating. I did say that if there was no marriage, then, yes, there would be fornicating, and that is a fact. If she was fornicating and advertising it on a public board, then it becomes my business and anyone else's who cares about moral propriety.

I am not a martyr and I don't care if I'm misunderstood or not. Not my problem.

I make statements of fact abut how I see things, just as you are doing. Are you explaining yourself, or merely responding to me? I take the latter for both of us.

Some here believe that judgement is taboo, but it is not. I didn't pass judgement, although a misreading of my comments have lead some to believe that I did. However, I know what I said and what I meant and I do not apologize for the time and place, nor how others did blow it out of proportion, as you are doing so now, Lisa.

I wanted to know what I would be commenting on. It would have been nice if some of the people who claim to be her friend would have clued me in, but that didn't happen and the rest is history.
