Where can my birth certificate be translating and can I translate it?

Type translations in the search block in the upper right of this page to see more info.

Anyone fluent in both languages can do the translations. Attach a simple statement indictating that you are competent to do so; sign it & date it.

The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:

You need to look for a place in your area (use Google or Yellowbook) that does offical translations of documents in Spanish into English. Where I live, I had my wife's birth certificate officially translated (stamped and approved) for $30. You can make copies of the official translated copy for further use (school, work, etc). You will need it for AOS also.

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

U.S. Naturalization -> 7/8/20

Yep, if you are fluent in both languages, you can translate it yourself using that certification. My husband translated his own birth certificate with no problem.

You could get it notarized, if it will give you peace of mind, but no notarization was necessary. You just use the above stated certification. It is taken from this USCIS page: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Better to understand what a notary does. They simply verify a signature is that of the person that signed. This means they have zero to do with content of a document. It serves no purpose to have these docs notarized other than to pay for what isnt required.
