Oui cette fois c'est clair : Faut que je mette le pied aux States avant l'échéance des 6 mois et à partir du pied posé, j'ai 90 jours pour me marier. Là c'est super clair. Merci!

Je suis en train de preparer les papiers pour faire la demande d'AOS, et je ne sais pas si je dois envoyer la copie du DS 3025 avec...

Quelqu'un pourrait m'aider ?

Ta visite medicale a ete faite il y a moins d'un an ? Ton vaccination record est coche complet ? Ou incomplet mais eligible pour un blanket waiver (car vaccins not age appropriate) ? Tout tes vaccines sont a jour ? Si lui, alors oui, tu envoies une copie du DS-3025. C'est ecrit dans les instructions du formulaire de l'AOS. Je te conseille fortement de le lire si ce n'est pas fait. :-)

Soit au courant aussi que c'est pas impossible de recevoir un RFE comme quoi tu dois refaire la visite médicale car l'USCIS a perdu tes docs au POE. C'est rare mais ça arrive...

Pour info, j'ai envoyé une photocopie de la copie mon DS-3025 (j'ai donc garde une copie avec moi) et j'ai eu aucun problème.

Je suis en procédure pour avoir mon K1 pour rejoindre mon chéri. J'ai déjà un boulot ici et je me vois pas attendre des 150 ans pour pouvoir travailler. Mais j'arrive pas à déterminer à partir de quel moment on est autorisé à travailler. Une fois que je franchis le POE, je me marrie puis ? :help:

Coucou et bienvenue ici ! :)

C'est simple, une fois que tu as le K-1, tu passes le POE, tu te maries et tu fais les papiers pour ajuster ton statut/avoir une autorisation de travail temporaire/autorisation de voyage temporaire (=AOS Adjustment of status/EAD Employment Authorization Document/AP Advance Parole) le plus vite possible. Je te conseille de faire les papiers pour ces 3 choses en meme temps car :

- il n'y a pas de frais pour l'EAD/AP si tu les demandes en meme temps que l'AOS

- ton EAD/AP seront valable pour un an, et d'ici la, ton AOS (green card) devrait etre approuve.

Sinon, tu peux demander l'EAD des que tu arrives aux US, mais c'est payant et le document ne sera valable que jusqu'a la fin de la periode de validite de ton K-1 (90 jours). Sachant que l'EAD (et AP) mettent environ 2-3 mois pour etre approuves, c'est pas un bon plan (risque de recevoir un EAD valable quelques semaine, voir meme pas du tout).

Dans tous les cas, tu auras forcement une periode d'inactivite pour environ 2 a 3 mois. Profites-en pour t'ajuster au pays, remplir la paperasse avec le consulat de France pour transcrire ton mariage, te renseigner sur les prochaines etapes dans le process d'immigration, etc... Y'a pas mal de choses a faire pour s'occuper. :)
