Tu l'as passee ou ? :) On t'a donne la copie du DS-3025 (Vaccination record) ? Si oui, verifie bien qu'il n'y a pas d'erreurs... Si non, il te la faut car tu en auras besoin pour l'AOS apres ton marriage.

je l'ai passée avec le docteur Slattery.

J'ai bien la copie du DS3025. Quel type d'erreurs faut il vérifier?

Sur mon document il est indiqué "applicant may be éligible for blanket waiver" : ça implique quoi exactement?

Si y'a des grosses erreurs de dates... Si tous tes vaccins sont a jour, et qu'il n'y a que des cases cochees "not age appropriate", c'est bon. C'est la raison pour laquelle il a coche "incomplet mais blanket waiver possible".

Si y'a des grosses erreurs de dates... Si tous tes vaccins sont a jour, et qu'il n'y a que des cases cochees "not age appropriate", c'est bon. C'est la raison pour laquelle il a coche "incomplet mais blanket waiver possible".

Compte environ 4-6 mois entre le moment ou tu as recu la first Notice of Action (I-797C) et le moment ou tu recois la deuxieme (I-797), si tu as bien soumis tous les documents... sinon tu recevras une Request for Evidence (RFE). Be strong! :P

Compte environ 4-6 mois entre le moment ou tu as recu la first Notice of Action (I-797C) et le moment ou tu recois la deuxieme (I-797), si tu as bien soumis tous les documents... sinon tu recevras une Request for Evidence (RFE). Be strong! :P

Great to see you're a lawyer who use VJ! If you read a lot VJ + the USCIS instructions, you can expand your business to be an immigration lawyer. :D There are a lot of bad stories here about people who used an immigration lawyer, who were giving bad advices or wrong informations and they got a RFE. I wish those people would have just read the info on VJ/USCIS and filed by themselves...

Hello!!!

Juste quelques news... J'ai envoye les papiers relatifs a la transcription de mon mariage au Consulat de France a San Francisco (sans avoir fait la publication des bans, donc sans certificat a capacite de mariage), le 20 juin dernier, et aujourd'hui, le 26, j'ai recu notre livret de famille francais et 2 copies de l'acte de mariage inscrit dans les registres d'etat civil consulaire.

Voila, donc meme sans publi des bans, ca a ete super rapide ! Je m'attendais a attendre des semaines, mais ils sont super efficaces ! :-)

J'espère qu'ils seront toujours aussi efficaces quand je m'en occuperai ! Je pensais m'y rendre en personne et faire mon inscription en même temps, je sais pas si c'est possible ou pas...

Et je pensais aussi renouveler ma carte d'identité mais je ne sais pas si c'est une bonne idée d'avoir un nom différent sur ma CNI et mon passeport (que je ne compte pas changer avant son expiration en 2018).

Adjustment of status from F-1

May 14th, 2012: wedding in Vancouver, WA :)

June 6th, 2012: mailed AOS/EAD/AP

June 8th, 2012: packet delivered

June 11th, 2012: acceptance

June 13th, 2012: received text messages and emails confirming application reception

June 14th, 2012: checks cashed

June 15th, 2012: received hard copies of NOAs (dated June 12th)

July 2nd, 2012: received biometrics appointment letter, scheduled on July 17th

July 17th, 2012: biometrics appointment completed at 10am

August 12th, 2012: interview notice received, scheduled on September 17th

August 15th, 2012: EAD and AP card production (on the 70 day mark!)

August 24th, 2012: EAD card received

September 17th, 2012: AOS interview - Approved!

September 27th, 2012: Green card received

C'est sûr que ça fait vraiment plaisir d'avoir affaire aux consulats français (Chicago pour moi) - en tant que citoyen français - après être passés par le consulat américain. Ils sont rapides, efficaces, et ils répondent même au téléphone et aux e-mails. Que demander de plus ?
