Hello everyone, I would like to know how early I can get my police checks and medicals done before my K1 interview. I will be going to the US embassy in Sydney. I know I am jumping the gun a bit as I don;t even have my NOA2 yet. But I would like to know if I can get these things ready early so that when I get my letter from the embassy I am ready to go. I have looked on the embassy website and they said that the medical is valid for 12 months, but i am unsure as to the police checks. Can I request them say a month before hand, or is it best to wait until i get my letter from the embassy.

Thanks

Ray

Ray you can go ahead and get police report done as it takes about 4 weeks to get it back to you in the mail. I am not sure if they have to send it to consulate or can send it to you as mine was sent back to me, it is valid for 12 months also. The medical can also be done without a case number through the docs in George ST. As you only got NOA1 2 weeks ago you may want to hold on till next month and then start all this wait the 8 weeks and then start k
