We just got our K-1 petition approved on June 27, Consular has received the petition and we are waiting for the packet 3&4. My fiancee is 7 months pregnant (thanks to Vermont delay) and most likely will have the baby in Nigeria. I believe I read on this forum that DNA is required, but it was not mentioned anywhere on the State Department website on the for Consulate office in Nigeria. I need someone who has been through this process to please enlighten me on the process.

DNA is required when the parents are not married and cannot provide a marriage certificate. Generally you are told this when you go to the interview or call/contact the consul that you will apply for the CRBA at.
