Hello everyone. I am hoping that all is going well for everyone in your visa process. I am gathering up everything that I need. But I have a couple of questions. Is 3 years tax returns required? Once I gather these returns are they only needed for the interview or do I send them somewhere prior to the interview? I would greatly appreciate someone answering my question. Thank you and Good Luck to all!

I believe that it depends on the Embassy. I have read somewhere that the Embassy that we're going through (Guangzhou, China) only requires the most recent tax return BUT this interview is VERY IMPORTANT for me and Qiuxang so I sent her the past 3 years tax returns along with the past 3 years of W2's from my employer. I figure that it's best to have more documents on hand than not enough, just in case.

My fiancee (Qiuxiang) will be taking the forms, proof of the relationship, I-134, etc... with her to the interview.

Thanks,

Keith & Xiang

Three years is plenty.(I sent only one). Be sure to photo copy them so you can keep the originals in case Manila asks to keep a copy. Send them to your fiancee and she will take them to the interview with her. I put sticky notes on which were copies and which were origninals so my fiancee had no questions as to which to allow Manila to have.
