Few questions about interview

Our CR1 interview is probably going to be in September since NVC told me all August is full. I see some threds that say you need a PCC for the interview, I already sent one when I send NVC the DS-230 packet, do I need to get another one? Also, what's VFS? Where do I make the payments? Also does chennai send out packet 3 and 4? As far as I know, they send the actual interview appointment letter.

Hi,

When you applied for police clearance certificate in Chennai you could have got 2 PCC certificate along with your passport. One you could have send to NVC and you need to take the another for interview however they will just and give it back. Since one PCC will be with them. Hence you need to have that original one.

VFS is a place where you need to collect your passport once the visa is approved or else they will post it to you at your place. You can contact them and if it is ready you need not wait for probably three or four days until it comes you can collect the passport the next day. Once you get the letter tell your wife to contact the VFS and they explain what to do. The number for VFS is : 00914428574242 or 00911206611411 and they will help you. No packets is send to you. All you will get is only the Interview letter
