Well good folks. I called NVC late last night just to see if Dan was scheduled yet. And I was surprised they told me it was forwared to Lagos on Sept. 11th and his interview is for Oct. 11th. I was in shock and I didnt ask all the questions I needed to ask. I had to get off the phone with my excitment. I called back and they said the info. with the interview date will be sent to me. Will call Lagos next week to see if they got the case, than he can pick up the pack. Has to get the medical and another Police clearance. So much to do in less than a month. Thank you lord.

It's been a long long wait since our case was completed in January. Almost 8 months. This was way to long to wait for the interview. I pray everyone else's interview dates dont take this long. It doesnt make any since to wait this long. So I know the rest like S&S and crazy4christ will get theres soon. And for everyone else you will also get your interviews, cant remember everyones name. :)

Will keep everyone posted.

4-9-05 - Rec'd Notice of Action

7-23-05 - rec'd approval from Cali. Office

8-22-05 - rec'd notice from nvc

8-27-05 - rec'd I-864 bill and DS-230 form

8-30-05 - sent I-864 bill in overnight

9-16-05 - rec'd I-864 pack

9-19-05 - rec'd DS-230 fee bill

9-21-05 - sent I-864 pack overnight

9-30-05 - sent DS-230 bill overnight, rec'd 10-1-05

10-20-05 - rec'd DS-230 pack, sent to hubby 10-29-05, he rec'd pack 11-7 and Dan sent off to nvc 11-8, and they still have not rec'd pack, have to send off again, darn.

1-13-06 - hubby sent off DS-230 pack for a second time

1-23-06 - NVC rec'd DS-230 pack, the waiting begins.

2-7-06 - called NVC, case completed on 1-26-06, thank you lord, NVC stated waiting on confirmation from lagos regarding interview date.

9-13-06 - called NVC, they stated case was forwarded to Lagos on Sept. 11th and Dans interview is Oct. 19, 2006. Thank you dear lord.

10-19-06 - Dan had his interview and was approved. Will pick up visa on Wed. My king is finally coming home. Visa wasn't ready, had to go back on Mon. Oct. 30th to pick it up. Has it in hand.

11-17-06 - Dan arrives at Detroit Metro Airport at 11:00 a.m. This is one happy day for us.

11-25-06 - Dan receives his social security card.

12-06 - Dan receives 3 welcome letters and his green card shortly afterwards.

February 24, 2005--1st NOA

March 15, 2005--2nd NOA

April 11, 2005--Fiance receives Packet 3

May 19, 2005 Fax Checklist(Nigeria police report finally arrives)

June 6, 2005-- Interview Date!!!!Visa approved!!

June 18, 2005--Fiancee arrives in Hawaii!

August 14, 2005--wedding in Oregon

September 12, 2005--sent in AOS

September 20, 2005--1st NOA AOS

September 23, 2005--Walk-in biometrics completed

October 1, 2005--fingerprints received/processing resumed

November 26, 2005--EAD card received in mail

June 7, 2006--contact senators about AOS

June 28, 2006--senator says interview date is for August 14!!

August 14, 2006--AOS interview and 1 year wedding anniversary

:dance::dance::dance: CONGRAGULATIONS FOR FINALLY GETTING THAT INTERVIEW!!!! I agree that you have waited a long time since the completion of your case and that was not good :huh: Kind of makes me wonder, however in a little over a months time you will be reunited with husband and I am sure that brings pure excitement. I know the count downs on...... Good luck to you and your husband!!!!!

Congrats :dance::dance::dance: In addition to the police report, you would also need another I-864 since those only last 6months. Also he doesn't need to pick up anything from the embassy, only k-3s need to do that, NVC will send you the pack. congrats again :thumbs:

02/15/06 Case complete (thank you James Shortcuts- only 6 weeks!)

04/19/06 tired of waiting, filed k-3 #2 ( petition is still lost in oblivion)

09/11/06 NVC scheduled CR-1 interview/ on to Lagos (thank God after 7 months of waiting!)

10/14/06 Interview date (success!)

10/18/06 Hubby goes to pick up visa- not ready ( ugh what's going on!)

10/19/06 Visa in hand ( thank you God!)

10/29/06 Together at last :)

INTERVIEW DATE SEPT 13, 2004

Going to NIGERIA 9/8/04 SO HAPPY 9/13/04 Interview. WE had a really hard time. They guy that interviewed us was raciest so we are waiting now. We were put on REVIEW.

4/01/05 Going to Nigeria to see my beloved. 4/05/05 I became Pregnant

4/15/05 Went to embassy to see about our case. They said they are still processing be done soon.

5/01/05 Went to embassy again to see if there almost through with the case. Said that they will be done with it soon No need to worry.

5/12/05 Returned to America went to Doctor to confirm Pregnancy

8/12/05 Steve goes to the embassy they called him. They told him the need more paper work

8/14/05 he provided all the paper work and they still said that they will be finished soon.

9/13/05 YEAR SINCE OUR INTERVIEW

1/02/06 Baby Girl Kelita Amaka born

2/7/06 Sent out packet to finish I130

2/15/06Sent out all the fees

5/06/06 RFE need info from Hubby

6/1/06 recieved his packet sent it back in

6/7/06 in system again

6/14/06 Case completed

1/16/07Interiew *requested DNA test of Our Daughter

1/29/07 Dna Completed waiting for the kit to be sent for his DNA
