NVC-missing information

We sent all of the documents that the NVC requested but we received an email stating that the financial evidence is missing. I called and spoke to the operator who said that we should give it more time because they do not review the civil documents at the same time as the affidavit of support. I'm wondering if this is true or if I should push a little harder. Our case has been at the NVC since April. We are dying to get our appointment soon.

Thanks for your advice.

That's perfectly normal...I'd give them a week then check back.

If you send it in the same envelope, call again and request that a supervisor review into the issue; that operator was incorrect.

The operator said that it takes 10-15 business days to get a response from a supervisor. We sent everything at the same time through electronic processing. The operator said that there are two emails there but she can't view the contents of the email. I guess we wait some more. I'll also just resend it to be on the safe side but seriously, this shouldn't take so long.
