Packet 3 Information

Hi All,

I live in New Delhi, the New Delhi consulate received the petition from NVC on July 5th, however I still havent received the Packet 3. I sent an email to VFS and they responded with the 2 forms that come as packet 3.. I was advised by some of the members here that I shouldnt wait to receive packet and to just send these documents. I was trying to find the address where I can send these documents and I found out that these documents are accepted only through email - this is what 3 different VFS call center agents and 1 supervisor informed me. I DONT trust the agents at VFS, I am sorry but I just dont - they all seemed to be as confused as I am and their replies come with loads of if's and but's. Anyways I have emailed the DS 230 form, the applicants statement form and a soft copy of my photo.

I will really appreciate if someone can share their experience and can confirm that I am on the right path (sending an email is the way to go about it).

Hi! Rajat,

I think you are doing things right... to hasten up the process...as far as I know...but if you dig in these forums.. you will similar info..keep us posted...I am in the same boat as you.

Email...it works.

My fiance physically took the forms to VFS and they refused to accept them, they made him scan them and email.

He never received packet 3 although I did a week later.

He DID receive packet 4 though...the mailman left it lying on his doorstep. That has to be delivered to VFS in person or mailed to them.
