Got the email today....our interview is scheduled on September 12th @ 10:00am....WHOOOO HOOOOO!!! :dance:

..congratsss...we got the same interview date but to different US embassy...mine to US Embassy Manila..

Mar 4, 2011 - hubby got NVC notice

April 3, 2011 - paid AOS online, emailed choice of agent

April 6, 2011 - AOS status PAID - NVC acknowledged choice of agent thru email

April 18 2011- paid IV bill online

May 18, 2011 - Send AOS Package

May 26, 2011 - Send DS230

June 1, 2011 - received email from NVC stating that our AOS lacks something is this RFE?

July 9, 2011 - mailed required docs for RFE

July 21, 2011 - called NVC and AVR said RFE again bt we havent rcvd any mail from them

Jul.21,2011- SIGN IN FAILED

Jul 24,2011-called NVC and AVR stated CASE COMPLETED on Jul 20

Aug.24-25, 2011 - Medical at st.Lukes...PASSED!!!!!!!!!!

SEPT 12, 2011 - INTERVIEW SCHED at US EM MANILA......PASSED

SEPT. 16,2011 - VISA ON HAND

..all my bags are packed im ready to go..yaaaayyyy!!!!!

Hello everyone,

My case was approved dated July 12,2011 still waiting for instructions and not calling NVC yet until August 12 since it was stated in NOA2 that we can call after 30days, so we are waiting for that date and if we never receive any from them then we will call. Do you think my interview will be schedule on September? I am looking forward to receive my appointment letter this month. God Bless to all.

my case was approved last Jul 20, i called NVC and operator told me to call back again on Aug 15 for the interview sched..but then i received interview letter appointment Aug 1....so most likely u have a sept interview sched..try calling the NVC....and most likely ul gt ur interview sched already even its not yet Aug 12...........:D

If I'm reading correctly, you have ur NOA2 only, is this right? If so, u should look forward to an October interview date. Depending on ur embassy, it could be sooner. However, it will take the rest of August to complete the NVC process and get Case Complete. And from there you will wait for an interview date, which will be scheduled in September for the following month. It's helpful to look at others time lines to get an idea of how much time is in between each step in the NVC process. Nothing is ever set un stone here, as u could breeze thru and be given an september interview date. But, going by ur NOA2 date, this seems about right. Also, go to VJ wiki and read the NVC process instructions, this helped me a lot! Good luck to you. Since Jan 2011, I projected an August interview and got September 9. Close enough for me!!! ;-)

Oh how I hope my hubby can have a september interview date but not sure still waiting for my husbands documents so can submit them. Hopefully next week we can send the docs to NVC. I really miss my husband.

History:

Husband and I were childhood friends (neighbors)

left the philippines when I was 6yrs old

Came back to the Philippines 2004 which we hanged out

1 year of courtship

2005 we became official

2006 went back to philippines for vacation

2010 went home to the Philippines March-September
