Case close July 19th, still waiting for a interview date, i am hoping it is early Septemeber date, can't take this wait any longer. almost for one year right after marriage we are staying far apart due to the visa process. There should be some kind if temporary visa for US Citizen spouses only which you can get in two weeks and come to US and wait for the processing to complete. that would be very kind.

Good luck for the rest of you. I hope you all get speedy interview dates assigned.

I hope you are aware that NVC tries to set up the interviews with the local embassy only on the first half of the month (for the next month) and if they fail to get a spot, they will try to do it for the next month - This is a statement from more than one operator of NVC.

Based on your approval date (July 1, 11 or 18), my guess for your interview date (not sure about the other ones, but for ZahidAntara) it could be either Early or late September. My guess would be between 10-20. Just a hunch :rofl:. Usually it's 1.5 to 2.5 months. But can happen earlier or later depending on load on the local embassy.

Guess the second week of the month thing is not entirely true!! I got my interview date by email yesterday!
