UPDATES!!!!???? LIFE IS GOOD IN TEXAS!!good.gif He did hate it and had a hard time adjusting.......still! But waking up to his face everyday is worth it!

That is great news to hear Shan...Good thoughts going your way :thumbs: As for my hubby and I, well his POE will be December 3rd in Washington, D.C.'s IAD...after another lengthy journey in finding that illusive plane ticket. The time is coming fast, but I Praise God my hubby will be finally here and for Christmas :D

I think it would be wise to start a transition forum. No one ever talks about the hurdles after the "great approval"! It's NOT easy!

I agree...I have been all over VJ trying to find (other than the POE reviews) what the POE in Washington DC is like, as well as information about HS diplomas, jobs, etc. Why don't you open one since you have had a little time to adjust? :thumbs:

That would be awesome! I would think under the 'Moving Here and Your New Life In America' in General Discussions would probably receive more input. However, the Sub-Saharan in Regional Discussions would be more specific to our situation.
