agreed...I just saw that and you beat me to it. I've yet to find reliable data to show TX as a net receiver like you say, though and don't have time to look.

Texas=donor state. Doesn't suck as much as the majority of other states.

All states are donor states. What did we ever get back for all that money the government spent in Iraq?

' donor state' in that ( as far as data available suggests) gets back less from the Govt than it sends ( ~94c back for every $1)- but I know you of all people don't need that explaining.
