Im just curious here, there is so much variation and Im having a hard time following similar time lines for the AOS, it was much easier to follow with the K1, but meh.

I was notified July 12 that our petition for AOS was moved to CSC. My understanding is that this means, no interview, getting right into card production. Looking at CSC time frame though, they claim 4 months for processing. What Ive seen in others postings along the way it was roughly 2 months. My page guesses between Aug. 1 & Aug. 10.

As for my EAD, Ive heard nothing, anyone know where that petition goes ?

Anyone who's already gone through this have any guesses as to where the paperwork stands at this time frame ? I guess I get confused because one petition is to live here, the other petition is to work here ... what if someone with one pet. says Yes, and the other place with the other petition says Nope ... I dont usualy do what ifs, I dont see the point in getting worked up over nothing, this is more a curiousity thing.

It seems to take about 2-3 months to get the EAD. When being transferred and not having an interview, looks like the wait is about 2-4 months for the green card. Some people have ended up getting their green card without ever getting the EAD, or receiving the green card first, making the EAD card production pretty much useless. I suppose it can be a souvenir of their immigration process. :P
