Hello all,

Please reply! we are very confused. Our center is VSC. We have I-751 recipt notice date of July 11 and ACS(Biometric letter) date of July 15. Biometric is going to be on August 05.

The problem is that our recipt number on Recipt notice and Biometric number are compleltly different(So, we have 2 different recipt numbers. Also, on recipt notice, our zip code is fine, but on Bipmetric appointment, it's different. So our fingerprint appointment is 5-6 hours drive from where we live. We live in New York City and fingerprint appointment is in Buffalo which is upstate New york. It's very confusing and very strange too. We just recived the letter today from VSC.

Any suggestion!

I already made an info pass appointemnt for August 2. Also, we are going to mail both copies with a letter to VSC tommorow. Also, we are going to call USCIS and put a service request.

The only positive thing is that they say on the recipt notice that you Green card is extended for one year!

Thank you all! and we will greatly appericiate if you can help us what should we do in this situation.

You recieved two notices, a NOA-1 and a Bio letter, therefore two receipt numbers, as for the Zip codes i cannot explain that, but the letter got to you so not like it was wrong name and address. i guess Buffalo is your local office or one available with free space to do Biometrics.
