We filed our K-1 petition on February 14, (VSC) and I called the national USCIS service center 3 weeks ago to inquire. They told me that there was nothing they could do until the 5 month date. So now called today and they said there was nothing they could do for at least another 30 days. No status nothing. Then told me that the Petition was "in process" and that since I hadn't received any RFE's that all was probably ok. Called Elena and obviously frustrated. We're watching March VSC filers getting their NOA2 and see February and March filers in CSS actually having their interviews. Frustrating. Any words of wisdom or is it just sit and wait?

Actually, I would wait for another 30 days if you already placed service request. Some people get senators involved but I do not see a reason until you hit 6 months.Senators/reps rarely help under 6 months.

Hope the best for you all as well! Doesn't seem to be any consistency in the process! Its the government so what else is new! We're patient and know eventually we'll get this done. We filed a very complete petition thanks to a lot of the advice received here at VJ!

I just got my NOA2 via email last Monday and I am a Jan 24 flyer from VSC. Just got the hard copy on Saturday, and nothing from NVC as yet. While the illegals pour in and get free ###### :bonk:

While illegals invade the USA and get free benefits, we wait paying fees and filling out forms while the illegals fill out zero-thank you US politicians!

Waiting on interview now in BKK, started Jan 2011
