Hi,

I am trying to fill out forms I-485 and I-130, but I'm stuck with some of the questions. This is my situation: I entered the country on a L1 visa that expires on January 09, 2012. Got terminated from my job on July 11, 2011, but since my husband is a US citizen I'm going to apply for the green card. These are the questions I have regarding these forms:

FORM I-485:

Part 1: Information about you:

- Address C/O (in care of): The mailing address I put on the form is the same where I've been living for the last 2 years (the lease agreement is also in my name), should I leave it blank? N/A

-A# (if any): I still don't have an A number, should I leave it blank?

-Current USCIS status: as I explained above, I entered the country under that L1 visa, but now I not longer work for this company, so what should i write here?

-Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy): the I-94 I have expires on 01/09/2012, but since I've been terminated from my job, what should I put?

Part 3.B: Processing Information:

-I filled out this part with my husband's information, but since he's an american citizen, should I leave the A# (if any) blank? or should I put N/A?

Now regarding FORM I-130:

Part C: Information about your relative:

2. Address: should I put the address where I've been living for the last two years in United States of my address overseas?

15. Name and address of present employer (if any): should i put NONE or N/A?

18. Address in the United States where your relative intends to live? Should I just write the current address where I am living?

19. Your relative's address abroad: I currently live in the US, but since I entered the country on a L1 visa, my residence address is not here in the US. What should I answer here? should I leave it blank? Or should I write my home address abroad?

22. Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:[/i][/i][/b] So, I live in Denver, CO, but the address where I have to send all these forms is to the Chicago Lockbox. What should I write down there?

Thank you!!!

You always put N/A or NONE. DO NOT leave anything blank.

Hi,

Part 1: Information about you:

- Address C/O (in care of): The mailing address I put on the form is the same where I've been living for the last 2 years (the lease agreement is also in my name), should I leave it blank? N/A Either

-A# (if any): I still don't have an A number, should I leave it blank? Put "None"

-Current USCIS status: as I explained above, I entered the country under that L1 visa, but now I not longer work for this company, so what should i write here? L1 visa. You can put "out of status" thought they will figure that out quickly

-Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy): the I-94 I have expires on 01/09/2012, but since I've been terminated from my job, what should I put? Depends on the rules of the L1 visa. If it ended when your job did, then you can put the date your were laid off.

Part 3.B: Processing Information:

-I filled out this part with my husband's information, but since he's an american citizen, should I leave the A# (if any) blank? or should I put N/A? Put "none"

Now regarding FORM I-130:

Part C: Information about your relative:

2. Address: should I put the address where I've been living for the last two years in United States of my address overseas? U.S. Address

15. Name and address of present employer (if any): should i put NONE or N/A? Either

18. Address in the United States where your relative intends to live? Should I just write the current address where I am living? Yes

19. Your relative's address abroad: I currently live in the US, but since I entered the country on a L1 visa, my residence address is not here in the US. What should I answer here? should I leave it blank? Or should I write my home address abroad? N/A

What should I write down there? Either. People here have reported putting both and everyone was successful. I am not sure which is right, but it won't matter.

Thank you!!!

AOS for my husband

ROC:
