I love it. I'm going to take up smoking and quit using the inspiration from this painting. I'm that inspired.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

it may be PC now... but it hasnt always been... and there are many folks who are truly concerned about the impact on health... forgetting the firsthand damage to the smoker themselves, and forgetting the damage of secondhand smoke, there is the direct increase in what ppl have to pay for healthcare (including nonsmokers)

and only then, will you find the meaning of happiness."

Just more politically correct BS.

huh???

It's PC to be anti-smoking.

Smoking is bad for you. You know it. I'm not trying to stop it though. I want more drugs legalized... not less.

Exactly my point.

Smoking is a behavioral issue which some argue increases health care costs. There are loads of behaviors that people have which can cause health problems.

It could be argued, for instance, that homosexual behavior causes health issues. But you wouldn't see a similar graveside scene over two homosexual lovers.

No I'm not anti-gay or lesbian. Yes I smoke. Readers may consider my two examples above to be unrelated. I don't think they are.

All I'm saying is that it's often considered 'OK' in today's culture for us to be minding other's peoples personal business and private lives, sometimes to the degree of legislation. I just don't think that's what a free society should be about.

Yes, obesity as well. Maybe we should put similar paintings on the ceilings of McDonald's!

Hmmm... it was just a funny pic :P no need to get all bent.

It's no secret that smoking is bad for your health, the health of anyone around you and the air we all breathe....

I have only recently stopped smoking after doing my fair share to contribute to pollution and rising health care costs... I just thought it was a funny pic :hehe:
