This was an old topic started by UncaRustus, which went into hundreds of pages.

So, I'll start with mine (South Indian).

My least favourite foods from this category are pulikootu (made with channa dal and heavy amounts of tamarind) and coconut chutney (generally used as a condiment for dosais and iddlys but sometimes also for puris or pongal). Hate both with a passion (and the coconut chutney has NO redeeming value nutritionally; I can remember my mum trying to use "tradition" as its selling point--dumb approach, as there are some traditions which should have been thrown away).

Oh. Guess I should've elaborated. Kanafah is a very popular Middle Eastern dessert, made from a soft cheese covered in nuts and a sticky sweet syrup. A "normal" serving covers almost an entire dinner plate. It's so rich and so hideously sweet that I can only eat about 2 or 3 bites before I want to puke. But they absolutely LOVE it in Palestine and Jordan.

lol yea i've seen these jello like sausages made with those things.. and of course sausages are full of guts..

and actually.. cow brains are delicious.. in Mexico u can eat brain tacos, and spaguetti with garlic-sauteed brains, delicious.. kidneys are tasty fried,.. lungs, i dunno havent ate them and stomach, its used in a very popular dish called Menudo (all stomach guts, from, well the various stomachs of the cow lol)

oh yeah.. stuff I dont like from my adopted land holland. Drops.. i hate drops, they taste so awful..
