Hello all,

I've searched for an answer to this, so apologies if I've overlooked an obvious route.

My situation is that I will leave my current residence in Bournemouth at the end of August, as this is when my employment ends. I rent, so I don't want to pay for a full month in September when I could only be in the country for a handful of days.

I was planning on de-camping at my parents prior to jetting off.

However, all of the visa paperwork, my proofs of ID, etc. give my normal Bournemouth address. Can I tell them at the interview where the passport should be sent (my parents' address), or should I act now to change my address from Bournemouth to theirs? If it's the latter, should this request be made to the embassy?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You make arrangements with a courier company desk inside the embassy for the return of your passport. At that time you write down the address where you want it delivered. It can be your parents house or even the local pub as long as you or your representative will be there to sign for it. The address on your official embassy paperwork doesn't matter (except if they don't approve on the day and say they will contact you to let you know when you should send your passport to them for the visa. Then they would need the address.)
