Guess we'll take a seat in the same boat as you guys are all in.

Received NoA2 on June 17th, been silent ever since.

Doing the good ol' "patience routine" but am getting more curious by the day though.

Looking at the above comments I hope to receive some form of information soon from the NVC.

I called the NVC the good news they got the petition just today and the bad news it may take up to 20 business days to get it into their system and the customer agent told me to call after a week. Anyways it moves one step further.

Wish you all the best. Let us know your experience too.

How disappointing to read this :( I was still hoping the best. We got NOA2 July 7th and I was hoping the rest of the journey to be faster. I didn´t know NOA2 can expire??? How long is it valid? And what is 15 days rule?

Best of luck to all of you!!

Not sure what the 15 day rule is. Look at your NOA2 when you get it in the mail. It should read the following:

Notice Type: Approval notice valid from xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx

Consulate: xxxxxxxxx

The dates should be a 4 month time period. If you are close to the end of the date and you are still getting your paperwork you should email the embassy asking them to extend the date. Good luck everybody.

Crazy, but it is almost as if USCIS goes fast, you get delayed at NVC. I am not citing this as fact, but it is like they speed the slow guys up and slow the fast guys down. I got my NOA2 last Monday, so nothing yet. My attorney says he will not do medical or police record without the case # "When the NVC has the file they will issue a case number which we need befroe we can take further action like completing the medical exam etc." I know I can do this, well I think I can anyhow without that case #. I'd like to see her in the next few weeks and get the medical and police stuff done while in Bangkok as that is way out of her way to do. When can I get a case #? I suppose they have not even received my file yet, but what do I know? It looks like it will not hit my Embassy for at least a month based on these posts about NVC.

While illegals invade the USA and get free benefits, we wait paying fees and filling out forms while the illegals fill out zero-thank you US politicians!

You could be correct.. the clearing house sending the NOA2 paperwork to NVC mails out a certain amount and just because the CSC goes from 5 months to three months (and really shooting out the NOA2s for several months to get ahead) does not mean the clearing house feels obligated to go above the 500 per day or whatever amount they choose. That's as good of guess as any...

Anyway you are in luck... You will probably beat most of us to NVC since your NOA2 was from Vermont.. Only the California NOA2s seem to have the obligatory "sit on a desk for 30 days before mailing" issue. You should shooooot right on through.

I've seen mention of three hitting the NVC today: one from 6/17 and two from 6/18 ... anyone else?

Fastviper, you could get the police report before you get your BNK# but I would wait until you get your BNK# for the medical. The police report you can bring a copy of the NOA2. Since it sounds like it is out of the way for her to do I would suggest doing both at once. Good luck.
