To apply or not ?

I am eligible to apply for Naturalization this month and i've already filled the application and have everything ready. I am assuming if everything goes well, i'll have my interview in October. But, i suddenly decided to go to Morocco to visit and bought the tickets ( i'll leave on October and come back in November). I know that it's possible to reschedule interviews, i am thinking to write an explanation letter so my wife will send it with the interview letter back to them at the time i'm not here.

Should i just wait and apply when i come back or it is not a big deal to reschedule the interview?

As long as you can respond to re-schedule the interview in a timely manner, its alright!

If someone at your house can receive your letters and inform you of what mail arrives, then they can request the re-scheduling of the interview.

However, I am pretty certain the letter will not affect their decision. They will process you as if they didn't read the special request. If each person requests a different accommodations, USCIS will start processing applications with 1 year timelines. They are slow as is and this is without any special requests... All I am trying to say is do not rely on explaining it to your IO that you are out of the country.

ultimately, it is your decision, and the way I look at it is there is nothing requiring you to apply now (like in removal of conditions) so I would probably wait until coming back...

That's a good idea. USCIS isn't an institution you'd want to be postponing stuff with to begin with. Take what they give you the first time so it's a good thing to wait and deal with them (once)when you get back.

I had the same issue and what i did is cancelled my travel until get things done, like that when i am travelling I will enjoy every moment without thinking about other stuff.

If you apply now, you can get fingerprints and background check and other things done which you'll have to go thro' anyway if you wait. Instead of waiting for those to happen now, you'll just wait later.

You can also do what a friend of mine did - prepared the application completely before hand, including listing the time she would be out of the country under the appropriate section, then left the completed package with me to mail 2 weeks before her return. She had the prepaid FedEx envelope and everything all prepared so I just had to deliver it to their office (or call them - they would have picked it up as well). That way she was able to get the application process moving before she returned but would be back in plenty of time to make a biometrics appointment. It worked out just fine. So, if you have someone here who you can depend on to send the application off and you can get everything prepared before hand, you may want to consider that option as well.
