Heh, very timely topic...I just e-mailed the embassy to ask if they'd received my wife's HK Police Clearance...should be there any day now. Got an e-mail reply in a few hours. In so many words they said "no, and we'll tell your wife anything we need to say...Buh bye".

This is one of those questions where you will get a dozen different opinions. I would defer to the people who have actually dealt with the consulate in Kingston. Every consulate is different so what is fine in Manilla or Kiev or Guangzhou has little bearing on what is ok in Kingston.

Hi, I was shocked when you said you had a number to call the embassy in Kingston. DO you mind sharing that number with me. I would like to speak with someone there as well?

NOTE you can not call KINGSTON, ONLY email them they will respond back within 5 working days.

email: Kingstonivinfo@state.gov

I actually contacted the Consulate in Kingston last Friday ad spoke to someone. I have been trying to reach them via email to no avail.

When you call the Consulate's office there is a prompt which states that agents are available on Monday and Friday between 1:30PM and 3:30PM

After several attempts an agent actually picked up the phone and told me they do not accept calls  Despite this, I explained my situation and she

looked up our case and was able to give me a status. Luckily I got in touch with her too because though my fiancee dropped off the DS230 they had

no record of it. :wow: So we have been and would have continued waiting in vain for an interview date

Here's the number I called was 876 702-6000 (Select Option 1, Option 3 then listen for option to speak to a rep. [i believe Option 3 as well])

Wow thank u everyone, who all replied. I honestly don't have a computer and trying to navigate this site on a phone is so difficult. I swear, I get locked out constantly. Lol. But I'm just seeing all the comments and I feel so bad that I didn't respond till now just got the hang of this site. Just right now I'm reaching out to anyone that knows a great immigration lawyer in Miami, fl cause my hubby got a white paper after his interview not saying that he was denied but that their sending his info bck to Uscis whose already approved it, we just feel it's so unfair cause we dont even have an answer as to why? Everyone at least gets a reason. Just doing my best to get research from all resources. Any help wld be great
