You will only need a copy for the VISA. However, I wouldn't hurt to make sure that she already has a copy and that it is accurate. I would also make sure that she has a valid passport as this may take a while to get.

My fiancee had problems with her Birth Certificate and we are having to pay an attorney to get this fixed in court before she can even get a passport.

I hope this helps.

When you send in I-129F are you suppose to send a copy of the beneficiarys birth certificate? I didn't see it in the instructions I got from vj and was wondering if I should tell her to mail me a copy for the possible RFE?

No you don't have to send it.

Thanks guys. Always get good feed back when I ask somthing here. I do have two more question on beneficiarys bc. Is she going to have to get it translated from ukranian to english? And translated bc noterized?

Anything that is not in English must be translated to English. Not sure if it needs to be notarized thought.
