10 to 14 days in my experience. Needless to say, that was just my case, but, from what I've seen, NVC has been pretty fast in processing the Checklists.

We got thru NVC in about one month total (from the time we got case number to time it was complete) with the interview scheduled for the next month. I would say prepare to get a police certificate from each place she lived but I'm not sure my husband never lived anywehre but Karachi.

Also should i send all the copies of the documents to my wife to take it with them time of interview even though i sent all the documents to NVC any advise plz

I made a complete file copy of all the i-130, ds230, and the i-864 pkg for my husband to take with him. He took that along with chat, emails, cards, letters, pictures our children drew for him, about 50 photos of our wedding and other events we attended together... the CO looked at some of them but not all but I will tell you the copies of the files came in handy as the CO was searching for stuff and my husband was able to find it in his own file and show him.

We are on AP so we are just in limbo pls pray for us to be reunited soon.... our anniversary is coming up and I would really like to be with him!!!! I really miss him... this is very difficult being separated for so long!!

Thanks... I'm sure they won't do that to your wife... the women rarely have this happen... and Adil said that day nobody was sent to the back private room until he and the other guy... he said they didnt keep the other guy's passport but they did his. IDK what that means really but all I can tell you is to tell your wife to answer everything they ask honestly and in short answers and she will be fine. The women usually have approval that day and within a few days or a week or two later the visa is in hand. You have nothing to worry about. It's the men that generally get the brunt of AP.

Good luck for good news to you soon!
