i WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS SITES BEFORE I MAILED MY 1-129F AND I-130. I GET MORE INFORMATION ON THIS SITES THAN LOCAL USCIS. I DID NOT DO ANY COVER SHEETS FOR ANYONE, IS THAT WILL DELAY MY FILE?

Hello everyone,

I had a question about the NVC packages that need to be mailed back by my husband and I. The AVR message said that the AOS bill and DS-3032 packages have been sent to us. Do we need to wait to receive the actual papers they send or can we print of the necessary forms and submitt those documents. For the DS-3032, can I email it to them before the the AOS fee bill is paid. Also, do they send the package for the I-864 package well as the DS-230 or is that something that we can print off and prepare, then send at the time when the appropriate fees have been paid? Hope this makes sense, any help would be appreciated.

Email the DS-3032 as soon as you can, they will send you a response in 3 days or so, you can email them before the AOS Bill is paid. You have to wait for the AOS Bill, so you can get the Invoice ID Number (IIN) to pay the bill online. At this point there are two parallel tracks at NVC that can be followed on to submit the I-864 and the other for the DS-230.

The I-864 and DS-230 can be downloaded and prepared in advance.

try reading your post that I was commenting on...its "use of wording" makes little sense...and I DO know the truth, i have been through this process once already (CR1), start to finish...and am now going thru it again (CR2)....your inability to convey useful posts in proper words is (at the very least) confusing and diluting to the VJ forum (in my opinion), not to mention all your "random" links...

Hi,

Thanks everyone for your help from time to time. I am especially thankful to VJ guide and Lingche’s NVC shortcut, James’s shortcut and Loto’s guide for useful information. I did not use my own created bar codes to send documents as NVC never gave me chance to use it but in fact, these shortcuts helped me to follow the steps and collecting the required documents in time. Honestly, my NVC journey never been completed in such a short time without this.

Regards

Please excuse if the answer to my question has been covered on some prior post or forum- i figured i would just ask and see if i can get the answer.....

i just got my NOA2 and it got forwarded to NVC. my question is- how long does the case stay at NVC [ normally ] before it goes on to the consulate in the foreign country? looking at some timelines, it appears right now that its about 2 to 3 weeks. It seems that after you get the NOA2, things move a bit faster. .........anyone?

I'm wondering... I've been reading a lot about AP and such -- who gets put in AP as I'm wondering what our chances are? I'm the beneficiary, female from Canada. What sort of things do they look for for AP and are we at risk?

I read a post by a Canadian here who said that she had some additional checks done for 2 months after the interview and it got me thinking... .

Thanks a lot,

I heard it's just few days before they send it off if everything is fine with your papers or package. It's a week today that we were approved and NVC said they sent it off and I got a case # too. I guess it just depends but keep calling please Have not been able to get through NVC 603-334-0700 so I tried 202-663-1225 and they were able to give me answers. All the best!
