@Mike_Mac: If I'm a criminal person, I won't make any "confession". The defense attorney always advise their client to refuse the "confession" She may not want to make any "confession."

Maybe she'll meet me without her defense lawyer....?

She just went to a prayer conference in Missouri, and mumbled something about going to confession and talking about her lies to me....but she mumbled it so I'm not sure. Her English gets better at times, and worse at others. At this point, I'm not expecting any truth or great revelations, and even if she told me the "truth", I would have no way to know if it was really the "truth". At one point, she tried to explain all her assets by telling me she got kickbacks from companies that did business with her employer, but it did not make much sense, and sounded like someone had helped her dream it up. Every time I press her, she tells me I'm "just playing with her". Maybe (1%?) there's a non sexual explanation for the mountain of evidence, but I expect if I insist on truth that makes sense and that I can believe, she will get angry and walk out, and that will be the end of it.

This is so strange, I need to know the truth, but the truth will probably break everything!

haha....

You don't need to know the truth. Her evasive behavior has told you everything you need to know.

this woman was going to be my new hobby :)

Mike_Mac: I just skimmed over the previous 9 pages of your story. This woman's situation and behavior raise so many red flags it looks like Red Square on May Day in the former Soviet Union! You made the right decision by dumping her; all she saw in you was a means to a Green Card and eventually a US passport. Introduce her to your worst male enemy, that way you'll kill two birds with one stone.

BTW, I am Vnmese but have been living in the US for 30 years. In my spare time, I volunteer at a non-profit to help fill out immigration petitions. Yours is not the first time I see a gold-digger at work - or should we say a "passport-digger".

Gold diggers look for green. She's a green digger alright, just a different type, she's digging for a 10 year green card.

tell her to do what many other viet women do when going for a green card...pay the 30-40k to someone else because you're not a sucker and she's not getting a free ride here.

well I dont now about the paid part. But for me in general. My wife tells me everything. Before she became my wife. She was just an arrange marriage. I did send money monthly to my wife so she can quit her sweat shop that she works in. My family verified that she worked in the sweat shop since she was 15. She borrowed her family id to work there. She couldn't afford schooling so she worked.

so its not a custom to give money to gf. But it is a custom once you're sure you're going to marry her and ask her to do things out of the norms such as quitting her job.

So if I were you. I would move on. I only provide 100-300 to my wife monthly depending how freely my monthly money is. I've been doing this the last two years since we meet till now.

Hello,

I'm new to this website, and I just read 9 pages of this topic in my spare time. I don't want to give any comment about Mike's story, but I have some words to say. Honestly, I'm really offended by quann, he has said such a bad things about Viet girls, not all Viet girls are like that. Are you vietnamese? I wonder if your mom, your sister, your wife hear this from you, what will they think? Mike's gf does not represent of Viet girls, you better know that. Indeed, nowaday there are so many girls try to get married with Amrican because of money or relocated in US, but they're just minority. I'm sure you can find gold-digger, green-digger or whatsoever all over the world, not just in Vietnam. And quann, if you want to find a good woman, you better look in some places else instead of bar of club. Please stop insulting us!

To Mike: I'm much younger than you and my experience in life is not as much as yours, so I don't dare to give you any advice. I think, if you cannot make your gf telling you the true, then there is noone can help you with that. When my fiance and I started to talk about the life together, we sat back and talked about our past first, what we done and what we have been through. We've all made mistakes in our past, and sometimes it hurts us when we have to remember about bad memories, but we didn't hide anything from each other. We both agree that when you accept someone into your life, then there is no secret! I feel for you cause it seems you love your gf so much but she doesn't really treasure your love. I really hope you can figure out the way to solve your issues.
