I can't tell you how the visa is printed, my fiance received his in 8 business days...I THINK that once the embassy in completing the final step to issue the visa they activate the DHL tracking number. I checked everyday once I was the hold notice. Just hang tight it should some time this week.

Visas are printed at the Embassy.. How..? Unsure if that could be answered. Why it takes 2 weeks..? Average turn around time is about 7 days... and after a petition is approved some administrative works do happen and it is possible they just process in the rear...

My fiancee was told that they wont deliver to her and she needs to pick it up in MoBay. They wont deliver to Negril? She payed the DHL fee but she still has to pick it up? that doesn't make sense.

i opt to pick mine up being that i just live around the road from their head office, but that's kinda hard to travel from negril to mobay, but maybe it depends where in negril she lives, or they don't have an office there. but at the end of the day i know she will gladly make the trip because it's worth it. congrats and good luck to you guys

Thanks!

She was using a friends PO box for all of her mail and they said they wont deliver to her. But she lives very close to the post office in negril.

anyways, she is happy to to to mobay to pick it up. just one last thing to do before we are together.

Hi All-- I called DOS and they told me my fiance's visa was actually issued today. Any guess-timates how long it will take to get to DHL?

Also-Is "visa issued" same as "visa printed"?
