There are none so blind as those who will not see. For your edification, I'll explain it. You stated that that beheadings count as murders. Your compatriot questioned my point then acquiesced to the argument I made which is that using our justice system is the gravamen sufficient to justify execution. If it is, then it isn't murder, if not then it may be argued that it is.

He sees capital punishment as murder. It's murder whether it happens in the USA or Saudi Arabia. That said, the law there is the law. Personal opinion about it is separate.

How about beheadings though in International law? It seems to me that International law forbids torture, but what about beheadings? Has the UN spoken about that or not? Probably not. I mean a clean beheading with a sharp blade is probably less painful than hanging, and no less painful than the firing squad, so why would they?

'hell on earth' aint happening. the 'thats inhumane' bunch whine when inmate don't get enough cable stations in their cells. put'em in an open yard & start a ppv channel??? i doubt a real sociopath would mind. but, guess which bunch would.

The statistics you quoted did not include the beheadings (which should be counted as murders).

I only focused on beheadings - the numbers were listed earlier - and as for percentages of beheadings - is really really low...

Look, if capital punishment and the death sentence isn't yer ball o wax for sentencing - tis ok - we have disparate points of view on it - I won't argue against yer position, much. I am fan of capital punishment and the death sentence - but I respect other people's POV about it; I respect YOUR POV about it...

The Death Sentence isn't for everyone - I can understand the other side, against it. I don't agree with it, and that's OK - but it's not really a point of contention, much less argument - except to note that MY POV and YOUR POV differ, much.

I'll note one thing, yes? The USE of the Death Sentence is geographical in scope - tis not global in application, at all.

You can't let a sociopath out, they can never be released and they won't change. What shall we do? The inhumane issue to me seems to be rarely justified, prison isn't summer camp.
