You should have asked that question before you sent it!

Well, given we don't know your specifics, or what you sent in, literally anything could go wrong.

Missing documents, improperly filled out documents. Not having met within the last two years. Not enough evidence of having met in the last two years. A derogatory flag turns up on the background check. The Affidavit of Support is insufficient. And, last but not least, getting a stickler of a CO on the day of the interview.

Yep. Pretty much anything.

Welcome to the Pain --

For the last month while waiting in Manila for the interview neither of us got much sleep.

And then you get to do it all over again for the Adjustment of Status!

So long as you checked through the list and felt ok about it before it went that's the best you can do. Its common to feel like you do, but not much point in worrying. If they need further information or a correction you will receive an RFE and in the meantime just try to relax while you wait the time out. All the best for your journey !

As long as you provided evidence of a relationship, have sufficient income or a co sponsor with sufficient income like his father and assuming you sent in all the necessary documents filled in correctly the chances of things going wrong are very slim. That said there is always room for glitch a snag a hiccup whatever. Just breathe and hang in there. It's a long process and if you worry everyday of it you'll grow old and gray in no time flat! Good luck on your visa journey and keep us posted on your progress!!

What are the main reasons the petition or visa gets denied..

You have a communicable disease

You are mentally ill and are a threat to yourself and others

You're a known terrorist

You have committed many serious crimes, especially crimes of moral turpitude

You are found out to be a fraud and nothing in your applications are true

If none of those sound like you, then you'll be fine.

In my question I stated we had a lot of evidence of being together, we have spend a total of 12 months together and have evidence to prove that..

Also his father is providing to affidavit of support so it is sufficient.

Thank you, we have a lot of evidence, our passport stamps, bosrding passes although i lost my first one but i have the stamp in my passport and the e-ticket, a wedding invite from friends that we attended together. many photos dated throughout the time we have been together, a couple of notes we had wrote to each other and hand made anniversary cards. Wen were are not together we just speak on the phone, we dont write letters or send emails really so dont have of them to send is that ok? But we do have a lot of other evidence and surely a picture tells a thousands right?

Im worried about the fact that his dad is co-sponsering, do they hold anything against this?

Do they only deny it if there is actually something wrong rather than discriminating for example, we are pretty young, i am 20 and my us fiance is 24.

We have no criminal records or any of the other obvious things they would deny...

Thank you so much for your help.

What NichNick says are really the only reasons they deny a visa. In some countries they can be more discriminatory, that is at some Embassies they may well assume you're a fraud if you don't have a pile of evidence a mile high and factors such as age may influence them, but for the UK you really don't need to worry. The benefit of doubt is all in your favour. You'll only fail if you actually are a fraud, lol. You'll be grand!

Other than that, the only things that can go wrong are if you make a mistake when sending off forms, in which case it will only delay you slightly and not actually cause a major problem, or if you are incredibly unlucky and they lose your case....which is incredibly rare and you should probably worry about that even less than you would worry about the mail losing the cards you send your friends :-)

My fiance and I submitted photos of us together in England and in the US and photocopies of our stamped pages from inside our passport as evidence of a relationship plus two letters of intent to marry (one from me and one from him). My sister is our co-sponsor as my salary doesn't quite cut it. He was approved just this past Wednesday on July 13th and got his Visa yesterday. At his interview he had brought with him lots more photos and airline ticket printouts. We talk on Skype 24-7 so no call logs really or text logs. Anyway point is they didn't ask to see it at all, they usually don't. Every case is different but it sounds like for the most part you have very little to worry about at all if anything to be honest :) And you're both over the age of 18 so they cant discriminate you for being young. It's illegal.
