Hi my case was completed on June 27 and I am waiting for Interview date. Did any one in Chennai got the Interview date whose case was completed after June 26, 2011

I am waiting for Chennai Consulate. Just check it out this link for visa process for CR1. NVC case completed on 07/27.

Is anyone on VJ who got interview date on Aug and case completed between 7/25 . DO let me now. I am her for Chennai Consulate in India

If anyone get the Interview dates for August in Chennai whose case was completed between 6/25 upto 7/10. Do reply. If anyone has any answer also can reply here.

We are no where near where you are - still waiting for the last 25 days to get our approved cases to be received at NVC. However since I am ready with all the documents and ready file, as soon as the NVC process starts for us, I am interested in this thread as my wife will be going to Chennai in future for interview. Please inform us regarding the VFS and other details that no one could clarify for Chennai after your experience.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

My spouse's case was completed on June 27th as well and when I called NVC today, I was told that interview is scheduled for Aug 1st week. Last time I called on wednesday ( 07/13) and there were no updates since case completion and we have not received the interview letter / email yet. NVC Operator mentioned that email should go out in a couple of days.

It might be worthwhile to call NVC and speak to an operator to check on the status.

Did they mention you the exact date of Interview or they said they are scheduling it and will get an email. Let me know the exact date and if you got any email from NVC
